The Deepings tomorrow will stage its first-ever online festival.
The event, taking place on what would have been its raft race day, promises a range of entertainment from 12-noon until 6pm.
The Deepingathon will be taking place online to overcome social distancing measures imposed by the government, which have prevented more traditional festivities.
One of the organisers, Coun Judy Stevens told Nub News: "The Deepingathon is a first for Deeping and maybe for any town anywhere!
"We have amassed a fabulous programme of talented performers from Pennyless to the Peterborough Big Band, One Eyed Cats to Chloe Lorentzen.
"All will be presented by DJ Funky Fossil on the Deepingathon facebook page from 12-6 on Sunday afternoon!"
Judy added: "The Funky Fossil has got some form for doing this type of delivery as with the help of his family he broadcast every Saturday evening during lockdown!
"We are acutely aware of the shortfall in funds for local charities - Sue Ryder, St Barnabas, Exotic Pet Refuge, Dementia South Lincs, Air Ambulance - so we have opened a just giving account and are on our way to raising our first thousand pounds!"
Further details of the event can be found in an earlier report of the event from Nub News.
