This week, Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain is looking for a Head of Supply Chain based in Peterborough based in Peterborough. Here is a brief job description.

"My client operate within the FMCG (food manufacturing) sector, and operate from a number of locations across the UK. This BRAND NEW Head of Supply Chain role will be pivotal in supporting the business to reach their full potential during this period of exponential growth.


As the Head of Supply Chain, you will have full autonomy to create and implement the Supply Chain strategy!

You will be the driving force behind the function to ultimately ensure that Supply Chain strategy and processes are in place, to guarantee your team can scale to meet a fast growing, complex multi-site environment.

Other responsibilities include:

Be the Subject Matter Expert for all Supply Chain queries

Lead and implement S&OP, driving a cross-functional and collaborative culture

Oversee the day to day operations of the Demand, Supply and Production Planning teams (c. 25 headcount)

Ensure that the Supply Chain strategies are fit for purpose and scale with my clients expanding multi-site operation

Develop processes and use Continuous Improvement to increase efficiency

Partner closely with the Head of Purchasing to drive strong supplier relationships which ensure service delivery / OTIF

Provide coaching and guidance to your direct team through regular 121's and performance reviews"
